The IMConferencing Whiteboarding Service mirrors the experience of collaborating on a whiteboard in a conference room. IMC goes a step further and allows the presenter to load images and screen captures as a background to an annotation session.

Managing a Whiteboarding session:
The Meeting Owner or Moderator of the meeting can manage the Whiteboarding session by utilizing the Annotation Bar:

Line
Tool
– When selected, the Line
Tool will draw perfectly straight lines.
Scribble Tool
– Allows the presenter to draw free hand on the whiteboard
Text
Tool
– The Text Tool allows a presenter to insert text into a whiteboard
Stamp Tool
- When the Stamp
Tool is select, a pre-defined shape will appear every time the
presenter clicks on the whiteboard. Shapes
available to the presenter are:
Check mark (Approve)
An X (Disapprove)
5 pointed star (Star)
An arrow (Pointer)
Rectangle Tool
- Allows the presenter
to draw squares and rectangles of various sizes. The
presenter can choose whether the rectangle should be an outline or filled
by clicking on the drop down arrow.
Circle Tool
- Allows the present to
draw circles and ovals of various sizes. The
presenter can choose whether the rectangle should be an outline or filled
by clicking on the drop down arrow.
Pointer

With the Pointer,
a presenter can move any annotated object to a new position on the whiteboard
Undo
– The Undo button removes the last object place on the whiteboard
Redo
– The Redo button will add back any object removed by the Undo button
Select Font
- Presenter
can select the font type, style, and size that will appear when a Text Box is placed on the whiteboard
Pick Line Color
- Allows the Presenter to change the color of:
Line and Scribble Tool lines
Text Tool color
Rectangle and Circle Tool outlines
Pick Line Thickness
- Allows the
Presenter to change the thickness of:
Line and Scribble Tool lines
Rectangle and Circle Tool outlines
Pick Fill Color
- Allows the Presenter
to change the color of:
Rectangle and Circle Tool background fill
Text Tool background
Opacity
- Allows the Presenter to adjust to degree to which projects placed on
the whiteboard are transparent
Clear
- Clears
the whiteboard of all annotations
Load Background
- Allows
the presenter to load a background image for the whiteboard session. Options
include:
Load Background – select an image from the local hard drive to load
Capture Area – screen capture and load a specific area on the desktop for
annotation purpose
Capture Window – will screen capture and load a specific window
Capture Desktop – will screen capture and load the presenter's entire
desktop
